
Jazmine was a Philadelphia native was born and raised in the city. Pam was Jazmine's mother. She is a former backing singer for Philadelphia International Records. At the age of five, of age, her dad landed an appointment as the curator of City's Historic Strawberry Mansion in the Strawberry Mansion section, and her family relocated to the historic landmark. The year 2005 marks her Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts graduates who is majoring in vocal music. Sullivan began singing in the children's chorus as a contralto, before joining the adult chorus just a few years afterwards. Sullivan wasn't exposed to secular music at first. "I started singing as a soloist in the church, and someone asked me to commit for a gospel recording when I was 11. However, I was not ready to do that," she says. "Then the time came that McDonald's offered a competition to kids in major cities I had the opportunity to sing 'Accept Whatever God Does' on Showtime at the Apollo and the audience loved it". She was just 13 when she sang alongside Stevie Wonder for his grandson's birthday. Sullivan At the age of 15 was signed for the first time to Jive Records. In Jive Records, she made an entire album. However, it was never released. Sullivan was eventually dropped from the label. Missy Elliott was her producer on a couple of tracks on her debut album. The most notable of these was "Backstabbers", a buzz song produced by Timbaland which was composed by Elliott.
